What is going on here...
So we are now in our new house and we are feverishly stimulating the local economy!
So far we have purchased a lot of paint, two new chairs for the livingroom, a new dining room light fixture, some new patio furniture, new end tables for the family room, various new lamps for all the house, a new bedroom set for the master BR (this was unplanned, trust me), a new CRIB (yup, and baby gets our old dressers too LOL) and we even ordered new countertops. The big money will be coming up soon, when we get the driveway expanded and paved, add more exterior lighting and for the big capital investment add a freestanding garage to the property. Yup, we know how to spend. (I am developing an ulcer).....
On a strange note, last friday (I think it was friday) we had the moving company deliver our belongings. Our main driveway is steep and narrow coming down into the property so the movers did not use ramps, but instead loaded out of the containers by hand. I was walking by the container and a 6 foot tall 50 LB picture frame fell out and caught me across the forehead and bridge of my nose. Knocked me clean unconscious. I was only out for a brief period of time, then came to in a daze. Needless to say, I went to the hospital. Turns out I have a moderate concussion. I was not supposed to concentrate or lift anything heavy for at least a few days. It is rather difficult to move into a house without lifting or concentrating.... We are back into it now, now that the headaches are finally going away.
There will be some pictures of the house, I promise. I just have to reload a progam that posts them to the blogs. Any suggestions on which one I should use?
