Keeping it busy...

I am in Bossier City, LA. We are rolling our massive show into a day off in Cape Girardeau tomorrow. This is one of the better rolls into a day off. You see, we have to travel 500 miles to get to our next hotel. That means that it will take a while to get there and I will be able to sleep in our luxury coach for a while. If we only have a short run into a day off, I have to stay up (or wake up after a few hours sleep) to check in the group to the hotel. But tonight, enforced sleeping bliss.

Reality is that I can work from the bus. We have satellite high speed internet on our moving vehicle (the state of modern technology) and it is distributed on a moving wireless network. So I can sit in the front lounge and type away at emails plus answer the phone. but really, I Just worked through the weekend doing very long hours. Even though technology exists to work during this trip, I think I am going to opt out..
